I continue to caution against further escalation in this trade dispute. Tariffs and counter-tariffs are harmful to both Americans and Canadians.

Our oil production is closing in on 5 million barrels per day, and I set a goal back in 2023 that we would double our production. So that means getting to 8 million barrels by 2035.

Canadians are really hopeful that we can get back to the table — just talk about the outstanding issues, (and) resolve them.

I plan to vote to stay in Canada.
