I am troubled that Science and Technology has repeatedly changed its focus, both on whether to focus on short-term technology or long-term research on larger unknown threats.

I get very concerned from time to time in reference to the cuts that are made to the grants and the funding for homeland preparedness when we always see the military budget escalated.

I believe that the homeland budget is as important as the military budget because it defends us here in the homeland.
