If the Hezbollah wasn't there, Lebanon today would be the prosperous, thriving, fun loving entrepreneurial society that it was 30 years ago.

As we know, the Hezbollah is really just a proxy of Iran and Syria. This is not just about this horrible terror organization in the south. It's about Iran and Syria, who are financing it and using it in order to destabilize the region.

We will continue to seek them wherever they are. We will continue to try and make Israel safer and Lebanon freer.

I think that the statement made by the secretary general was very unworthy of such a seasoned diplomat. I think it was premature, hasty, deplorable and irresponsible.
