The rhetoric doesn't match the reality.

I have confidence, I truly do, as I think the president does, that ultimately the leaders in both the House and the Senate, Democrats and Republicans, will find a way to avoid default.

I think it is critical that we beat him and I think it's critical that we beat him at the ballot box and that is why I've endorsed Ted Cruz, among other reasons and why I'm working so hard to help him win the nomination.

Well, this is exactly why I'm backing Joe Biden, because we must have a man, a leader of empathy, of humility, of compassion, of collaboration who is actually willing to tackle this problem of racial injustice and begin to solve it.
