The two presidents agreed that strengthening democracy, protecting human rights, and addressing the climate crisis would anchor our shared agenda.
Beyond that, the renewal of HOPE and HELP legislation will be incredibly valuable to provide economic stability and economic growth for Haiti.
We see these and other challenges confronting the region, but we stand by our conviction that democracy remains the best form of government to address them.
