An American President is not a king.

The president does not have the authority to terminate members of the National Labor Relations Board at will, and his attempt to fire plaintiff from her position on the Board was a blatant violation of the law.

The chilling effect of this executive order, 14230, threatens to significantly undermine the integrity of our entire legal system.

The president's efforts here to take over an organization outside of those bounds, contrary to statute established by Congress and by acts of force and threat using local and federal law enforcement officers, represented a gross usurpation…
