Bart Stupak: Their contract of America, you never hear them talk about that anymore. You never hear them brag about it, as they did…

Their contract of America, you never hear them talk about that anymore. You never hear them brag about it, as they did for the first 9 months, this contract is going to do this and that. They are running away from that contract, because it was not a Contract with America, it was a Contract on America. Now you do not see them campaigning on it. There are not all these wild promises, extreme positions. I think the American public, like us, learned in the last 20 months and said the truth has finally come out, as Mr. D'Amato said, and they are trying to bail themselves out with their little gray buckets. We look forward to the next few weeks.
