Arne Duncan: “What the White House needs to do is invest in public education, at this time, a critical need.”

This is not left versus right, R versus D. This is a threat to dismantle public education and higher education in our country. And we should all be very, very scared of what could happen here.

The goal here is not to reopen schools, the goal is to stay open.

We are very intentionally targeting in these competitions those areas of the greatest need, not of the greatest grant writers, not of the greatest wealth.

Well, what's happening is people aren't paying any attention to President Trump's bluff and bluster and threats and bullying.
