New York has an important interest in rooting out fraud in our markets, our corporations, and our charities, and we will continue to do just that.

I could not see a world in which I would indict Trump and call Mr. Cohen as a prosecution witness.

But most importantly, today, we have the most important voice of all. And that's the voice of the jurors, they have spoken. Donald J. Trump has been convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records. Thank you.

I hope the victim's loved ones can take some measure of comfort that this defendant will finally face accountability in New York.
