Francois Hollande

Nothing will lead us to give into our will to fight against terrorism.

France as a whole is under the threat of Islamist terrorism and so in these circumstances, we have to demonstrate absolute vigilance and show determination that is unfailing.

This is of an act of which a terrorist attack cannot be ignored and this is of absolute horror, and it is clear that we have to do everything to ensure that we can fight against the scourge of terrorism.

The horror, horror again has struck France and Nice during this night.

We are at war and for us to remain ourselves because that is what is in question, France must not lose itself to win this war. France must respond to hatred with fraternity. France will respond to a fanaticism with the hope of life itself.

We will eradicate terrorism. Terrorism will not destroy France because we will destroy it.

France's president today said this country is at war with ISIS.

These heroes are today called. Franck Brinsolaro, Ahmed Merabet, Clarissa Jean-Philippe. I express my gratitude. My pride, thanks to you, with you, France is standing. Long live the republic and long live France.

French president Francois Hollande said that unity is the only thing that is going to keep the nation safe and allow us to fight back, unity and solidarity.
