There will be no two-state solution in the coming years, because Israelis now understand this will become just another failing terrorist state on our borders.
Israel is a sovereign state, we are not a vassal state and we are not a protectorate.
You cannot grant him a pardon without an admission of guilt, an expression of remorse and an immediate retirement from political life.
Last night’s cabinet decision to pursue occupation of the Gaza Strip means abandoning the hostages, while completely ignoring the repeated warnings from military leadership and the clear will of the majority of the Israeli public.
Calling the decision a disaster, it would take many long months, lead to the deaths of the hostages.
With all due respect and gratitude to the president of the United States, he’s not supposed to intervene in a legal process of an independent state.
And now Gaza. It’s time to finish things there, too. Return the hostages, end the war. Israel needs to start rebuilding.
I urge Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept the proposal publicly and immediately.
There was never a government here that had so many reasons to ask for forgiveness.
