Canada’s got great capability and capacity that I think we’ve largely ignored over the years, and we’re not in a position to do that anymore, so we’re not going to do it.

We're on the receiving end of this change, and it's our job to look for new opportunities and pivot as fast as we can to meet the moment, and never put ourselves back in this position again.

We’ll go from two qualified suppliers to a preferred supplier, and the government of Canada will enter into contract negotiations with the preferred supplier so we can turn lots of MOUs and promises into tangible outcomes for Canada.

We’re a sovereign country and we make our own decisions. And they’re thoughtful decisions.
