I want to reiterate the following: the independence project we are championing is not directed against you. Quebec will always be a partner acting in good faith and open to collaboration — as we have always been.

I’m appealing to those who are not even certain they will vote tomorrow. Please help us deliver the change you are requesting. And we need that support.
I hope that tomorrow there will be a significant change in direction, and I think that’s what the people of Quebec are expecting.
It’s not totally accurate to say that this election is only about whether we would hold a referendum in three years from now.
People are going to vote. And nobody thinks there’s any danger in going to vote and being in a democracy.
And so, my undertaking, my will is to disclose that information while protecting the identity of individuals, that we get to know through a process what actually happened. I think it’s a matter of knowing the truth and protecting our…
I think we’ll know pretty soon. We know there were maneuvers… We know a few things that are very alarming in terms of the integrity of that democratic process.
We will protect personal information. But regarding the content — using the tools available to us at the National Assembly — there are ways to extract it while still ensuring protection (of sources.) We are committed to doing that.
Quebec’s independence is not only legitimate but necessary, because Canada condemns us to decline — linguistically, culturally, and economically. It also condemns us to a culture of dishonesty, as well as to chronic instability.
To the sovereigntists, I say this: your obsession with holding and winning a referendum harms the progressive cause and feels like psychological harassment to a majority of the population. Many voters share my view.
It is not referendums that are to blame for the decline of French, the decline in our demands for health transfers and that of immigration, that has been sabotaged by the federal government.
I think it is difficult to find more evident declines and reversals than over the past 10 years.
Putting an end to CAQ waste and reinvesting those funds in urgent issues such as homelessness.
I’m told the information was available as of January. We’re talking about events that might have taken place in early September.
C'est la preuve qu'on vit un moment très inhabituel avec les Américains qui est inacceptable de la part de l'administration Trump.
However, overall, we’re proposing to curb historic waste … so I think people will evaluate our political platform as a whole.
Part of my opponents’ strategy is to demonize consulting the people about their future, by saying it’s appalling.
As for the cost of holding the referendum, people will have their say, but we won’t apologize for living in a democracy and for consulting the people if we’ve reached that point.
