Would the Liberal government would be so bold to tell the city of Winnipeg, Calgary or Ottawa that they were committed to progressively realize the human right to clean drinking water in the city?

The government is saying that it cannot move too fast. This is a blatant double standard, which by now has become totally unsurprising from the Carney Liberal government.

Certainly as Indigenous Peoples we have opinions that we agree on and disagree on. That’s called a democracy.

It's another example of what Amnesty International confirmed: a rapid rolling back of Indigenous rights by the Carney government.
