Gregor Robertson: “I will emphasize, Canada will be paid back for this bridge over the longer term.”

Given the recent tariff action from the US, we felt that we should focus today on celebrating here in Canada.

Investing in the Dunn House model is critical to solving the housing crisis across the continuum.

Let us remember why we built this bridge: to connect our communities and our countries, to inspire and improve lives, to create and safeguard jobs, to build a resilient future — and to build Canada strong.

In turn, we remain committed to opening the bridge on July 27, and to celebrating this milestone among Canadians on July 24.
