The fact that we were able to do this in a year (after McCourt’s death), to me, speaks to the cooperation but also the necessity. Intimate partner violence is a scourge on society.

Canadians deserve to know what happened, and Parliament has a responsibility to demand those answers.
Was this an intelligence failure? Yes, it was. Did Canada's international standing suffer because of this? Yes.… How did this happen? We have no answer.
