This is about defending my honour!

Those talking about so-called freedom of speech are the same ones banning reporters from the Oval Office.

It’s a question of having the truth respected.

This has become such a big issue in the United States that we had to respond.

I just have to say here, everybody around this table is in favor of peace. And we work very hard and we’ve worked very hard during the past few years to have a peace which is robust and long-standing peace.

What’s happening in Ukraine is extremely important for Ukrainian people, obviously, but for the whole security of Europe.

I don’t see any swap in the proposal of the Russians, except a swap in comparison with what they wanted at the beginning.

It’s impossible for a Ukrainian president and Ukrainian officials to have talks about peace as their country is being destroyed and as their civilians are being killed.

If you make any peace deal without security guarantees, Russia will never respect its words, will never comply with its own commitments.

When I look at the situation and the facts, I don’t see President Putin very willing to get peace now.

We must enter a new diplomatic phase, one in which we assume responsibility for having and defending the interests of Europeans.

A theoretical article isn’t enough, the question is one of substance.

We need a credible format for the Ukrainian army, that’s the first point, and say — we Europeans and Americans — how we’ll train them, equip them, and finance this effort in the long-term.

I welcome, in this regard, the readiness of the United States to contribute.

Peace is possible. There must be an immediate cease-fire, the release of all hostages, and massive humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
