I was disheartened to see the Biden Administration strike two investment priorities from the application consideration process: Critical Infrastructure and Opportunity Zones.
I am very concerned at the unintended consequence this action and its subsequent extension will have on homeowners in my state.
They`ve been able to do that from the beginning of this. I think eventually that`s where they`re going to end up.
When other ideas come up that are presented to be, you know, bigger and better. That had an effect, I think, on our negotiations.
I want this drinking water level, as I have tried to put in legislation out much sooner than what we expect it to be, and I am going to keep pushing on that, because I think that is critical.
Addressing the challenges of PFAS contamination has been one of my highest environmental policy priorities, as many of you know, and I have long led bipartisan efforts to address this issue.
