West Virginia has been a heavy lifter for many, many years. We do coal. We do natural gas.

I am beginning to think, based upon all of this, that maybe what the Senate needs to do is to find the end game.

The Department of Energy has had $8 billion for research and development. It's been laying there for since 2, 9, I think.

That's all I'm asking for is a realistic, sympathetic look to what we can do and what we need to do for our country.
