Because Mr. Shimizu's testimony left so many questions unanswered, then Chairman Rockefeller and Senator Nelson sent a letter to Takata requesting documents and information regarding the company's defective airbags.

We urge Congress to, first and foremost, adopt a 4-year extension of CHIP funding through 2019.
