Your predecessor... did everything it could to put West Virginia out of business and put West Virginians out of work.
I proudly sponsored an amendment addressing ozone standards and the funding mechanisms through this process to bar the EPA from moving the goalpost.
We have a number of coal-fired power plants across the country that would like to invest in their plants for improved efficiency.
I think it was the right decision, and I thank you and the Administration for that.
So, this Administration and you in your leadership role the EPA do see a future for coal.
I want to thank you, like so many around this table, for the clear articulation of why the Paris Accord was such a bad deal.
We need to put resources where the problem is and that is in my district in West Virginia.
In my district, we are literally ground zero, the Third Congressional District in West Virginia.
