Where is our priority? Do we want to eliminate a program that is extremely important for our competiveness position as we move forward with this internationalization of our global economy, or not, and do we believe that this program contributes to that? I do. On a bipartisan basis, administrations have. And I hope that the body's majority does.

If I leave you with one message, it is science agencies must play a leadership role in the improvement of science education.
