The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title), insert the following: Sec. __. None of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available by this Act may be made available to enforce the restrictions outlined under the headings ``Visits and Travel'' (regarding limitations on ``Travel to Taiwan'') and ``Communications'' (regarding limitations on ``Name'', ``Symbols of Sovereignty'', and ``Correspondence'') in the Department of State's June 29, 2021, Memorandum for All Department and Agency Executive Secretaries entitled ``Revised Guidelines on Interacting with Taiwan''. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 723, the gentleman from Wisconsin (Mr. Tiffany) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Wisconsin.”
