I challenge all of us in this room tonight and everyone listening at home, call up your local hospital and ask: Excuse me, what does it cost for a mammogram, and 99.9 percent of the time you are going to get this answer: ``Well, what insurance do you have?'' I think we need to have transparency, and this is one of the ideas that President Bush is in favor of, and I am sure our Republican colleagues would be as well. I believe we need to openly disclose all prices in health care. I believe every citizen should get the same discount. I don't believe in discrimination. Today, on average, if you are covered by Medicare part D, if you go to the pharmacy and you are in line behind somebody from the VA, you are going to pay 46 percent more for that prescription, the identical prescription being sold to a veteran patient, and yet you are paying more. I feel that is a form of discrimination.
