just from a personal point of view, one of the concerns I have is even if this amendment fails and we get the 6- month extension, we are merely delaying the inevitable. We have been in touch with the Department of Agriculture. They have been having hearings, they have been receiving public comment. They propose two options right now. They are ready to move forward on issuing a rule this fall and implementing that rule early next year, just as the Freedom to Farm bill authorized them to do just 2 short years ago. Let us get on with it right now. We do not want to have another big dairy fight on this House floor now.
