As chair of the bipartisan US-UK Caucus and the British-American Parliamentary Working Group, I send to the desk a resolution and ask unanimous consent for its immediate consideration in the House, and further ask unanimous consent that it be read in full. The Clerk read the title of the resolution. The SPEAKER. Is there objection to the request of the gentleman from Wisconsin. There was no objection. The text of the resolution is as follows: H. Res. 1341 Resolved, That the House of Representatives of the United States of America has learned with profound sorrow of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II; and sympathizes with her people in the loss of their beloved sovereign. Resolved, That the President of the United States be requested to communicate this expression of sentiment of the House of Representatives to the Government of the United Kingdom. Resolved, That when the House adjourns today, it adjourn as a further mark of respect to the memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The resolution was agreed to. A motion to reconsider was laid on the table. ____________________
