Absolutely. Look at the name of it, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. It is not going to protect patients. If we are going to lower the quality of care, if it is going to result in rationing, if it limits innovation, how does that protect patients? The affordable care act, the Senator just ticked off the three reasons it is not going to be affordable: It is going to drive up costs. It is not bending the cost curve down. It is a fiction. The health care law is a fiction. I am so appreciative of the Senator's efforts at again making sure that, before this bill is fully implemented--we both are dedicated to making sure the American people fully understand the full, true cost of this health care law both on quality and the effect on our budget.
