What we're trying to do is tone down the rhetoric, lead by example and show people we can disagree with one another. We can have different ideas without being vitriolic, without going to such extremes.

We have a moral obligation to prevent people from getting hurt, to stop damage from being continued.

We are extremely worried about the consequences of the trade war. You know, urging the White House to not advance with this plan.

We must be clear, white supremacy is repulsive. This bigotry is counter to all this country stands for. There can be no moral ambiguity.
