Listening to the gentleman, the phrase ``trust but verify'' comes to mind, that we trust the procedure that has been initiated in this Congress will continue and this is very simply a verification that what we have started, to make government cleaner and better for the American people, will continue. ``Trust but verify'' just keeps coming to my mind as I listen to the gentleman.
