“Let us be very, very specific. Let us assume that this young lady that my colleague talked to at the gas station had three kids. Next year, when they figure out their taxes and their family and they get to the bottom line, they subtract off $1,200, $400 for each one of those children under the age of 17. That was the tax cut package that was signed into law last year. If they have some in college, they will get to the bottom line of their taxes and for a freshman or sophomore they subtract off $1,500 to help pay for that college tuition. I had a bunch of high school seniors out here in the last couple weeks from a couple of our different high schools around and I asked them, did you know that next year when you go to pay your college tuition your parents are going to get a $1,500 tax credit? That is, they figure out how much they would have sent to Washington and they subtract $1,500 off the bottom line to help pay for their college. A lot of them do not even know about it yet, but this is there and available.”
