This is such a horrific crime. This is a targeted attack on a public official and a judge. It's not the only targeted attack we've seen.

We have seen a rise in domestic extremism. I think it is important that we take a look at the protective measures that we have in place.

This funding should be distributed to the states, not improperly used as a bargaining chip.
