“I stand here today to strongly support the E15 year-round codification. For the past 5 years, the EPA has been using data that is older than some of the Members of this body. For 5 years in a row, the EPA has issued an emergency waiver for the use of E15 year-round because of the data sources that they have been using. Under the leadership of President Trump and Lee Zeldin, we are now going to use data from this century. It is critically important. This is what that data has shown. E15 is environmentally sound. It is readily available. It is reliable. Most importantly, it is affordable. Madam Speaker, I strongly urge my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to vote for this rule and for the underlying legislation.”
