So, as I was saying, lest anyone think that it is not needed, the airline industry itself estimates that we have had a 15 percent increase in unemployment in that industry since 9/11, and since January 1, we have seen another 15,000 layoffs. So I would ask the Members of this House today to, for a change, let us not institutionally genuflect to the top dogs in this society. Let us keep in mind the needs of the underdogs and provide at least some modicum of assistance to the workers I am talking about. Let me also explain that there will be a rollcall on this vote. I know that it may be possible that this motion could be adopted on a voice vote. But frankly, if we were to simply have a voice vote, it would not mean anything to anybody. It would be very easy to jettison this language in conference. So I think to assure that this vote is a meaningful vote, let the chips fall where they may in terms of passage.
