I would simply note that I certainly do not agree with everything in this bill. In fact, there are items that I have fairly strong disagreement with. But it is a reasonable approach to transportation problems in this country, and I think because of that, it deserves our support. I simply want to congratulate the gentleman from Virginia [Mr. Wolf] and the gentleman from Minnesota [Mr. Sabo] for the job they did in producing this bill. In politics, we often have two kinds of people: we have the show horses and the workhorses. In these two gentlemen, I think we have workhorses and the House is the better for it. Mr. Speaker, I would also make the point that I think this demonstrates that if these issues are left to the Committee on Appropriations to try to work out in as bipartisan a manner as possible, they can usually be worked out.
