The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 163, beginning on line 5, strike ``(i) either--'' and all that follows through ``(I) the person'' and insert ``(i)(I) the person'' (and adjust the margin of the subsequent subclause accordingly). Page 163, line 8, strike ``or'' at the end. Page 163, line 12, add ``or'' at the end. Page 163, after line 12, insert the following: ``(III) the report is necessary for a background check or related investigation of financial information that is required by a Federal, State, or local law or regulation;''.
