So, Congress should approve the President's request for supplemental disaster assistance funding before the end of this Congress.

If we want to support mitigation efforts that offer the greatest return on investment, it is common sense to provide communities with the resources they need to adopt the latest codes.

I am disappointed it does not include any of the funding included in the President's disaster supplemental request.
