I am aware of the Twin cities Transitways Project and I am pleased that this bill includes $50 million to support the Hiawatha Corridor. While the subcommittee was unable to provide funding for the Northstar Corridor initiative, we will give that project consideration when we go to the conference committee with the House on the FY 2002 Department of Transportation Appropriations bill.
