I think what my friend is describing is the middle-class squeeze. The fact that in America today the people who play by the rules, who work, who want to work, who want to pay their taxes, support their churches, invest in their communities, educate their kids, these are the people who are being squeezed. And those at the very upper limits of the income ladder are being richly rewarded by this administration.
