Dear Representative, As the National Commander of the Disabled American Veterans, I write to urge you to oppose and vote against H. Con. Res. 393, the House budget resolution for fiscal year 2005. And then the letter goes on and talks about how we are short-changing VA health care. We are at war and yet the President actually sent us a veterans' budget this year that was woefully inadequate. It called for an increase in the costs of prescription drugs for many of our seniors and our veterans. It called for an annual enrollment fee of $250 for many of our veterans.
