I am happy to respond to the issues raised. One point is important to make. I am happy to modify my amendment if this would help clarify. This is not retroactive for someone who has gotten a job. If you got a job in March and you would have qualified for January and February unemployment, you do not get unemployment benefits. This only takes care of individuals who have lost their job and have not found a job. I am happy to modify the amendment. That is not the intent of the amendment. The intent is only to take care of people who are still unemployed.
