I am so glad that my colleague, Representative Stansbury, mentioned the aftereffects of these wildfires. We all think about smoke and about forests, but we don't think about what happens when the rain comes and the mudslides that follow that cause so much destruction, as well. Energy security should be handled by the Department of Energy. This is important for our national security. Mr. Speaker, I encourage my colleagues to vote ``yes'' on this bipartisan bill, and I yield back the balance of my time.
