So if Mr. Ryan and the Republicans succeed in moving to a voucher system--that is, we hand 5,700 or 6,300 or whatever amount to seniors every month--how will that administrative cost on the insurance companies, will that be an added cost on top of what they are getting already?

One of the largest holes in the Medicare system is that it does not currently cover most dental, vision, or hearing expenses.
Now, the reason I raise this issue is that we all know that about 70 percent of healthcare costs occur in the last 6 months of life.
The best way to improve and sustain Medicare is by expanding it and strengthening it because, unfortunately, there are holes in the program that weaken health security of our beneficiaries.
