My grandchildren deserve to hear the same bird song from birds from all 50 States of this Union in the arctic just like I did. Your grandchildren deserve to know that the caribou are going to be there 1,000 years from now, just like you do. Now, we have a disagreement. The majority wants to give $20 billion to the oil companies, and our children's heritage as icing on the cake. That is wrong. Preserve the Arctic Refuge.”
