I want to thank Mr. Barton for reading Dr. Norwood's eloquent statement into the Record. I want to note that kidney donation is not just for the recipients. It is for their families and the places they work, and even the U.S. Congress. The reason we had the benefit of Dr. Norwood's wisdom for years in the U.S. Congress was because of a lung transplant. I want to note that what we are doing today is not only helping those 70,000 people, but also their families and workplaces and the whole U.S. economy. Mr. Speaker, I reserve the balance of my time.
