“If this had been ransom, there is a person whom Iran has held prisoner and about whom Iran has denied a lack of information to the family--Robert Levinson, who has been in Iran for 9 years. I just can't imagine that a ransom agreement or the meeting of a demand would not have included information about Robert Levinson. Mr. Speaker, the children and families of Flint are facing lifelong damage as a result of lead exposure. It is long past time that this Congress acted. We have an opportunity right now to bring up legislation that would ensure the people of Flint will receive clean drinking water and to provide health and educational support for the children who are affected by the crisis.
