The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of subtitle D of title XXXI, add the following new section: SEC. 3143. BUDGET INCREASE FOR DEFENSE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANUP. (a) Increase.--Notwithstanding the amounts set forth in the funding tables in division D, the amount authorized to be appropriated in section 3102 for defense environmental cleanup, as specified in the corresponding funding table in section 4701, is hereby increased by $20,000,000. (b) Offset.--Notwithstanding the amounts set forth in the funding tables in division D, the amounts authorized to be appropriated in this title for weapons activities, as specified in the corresponding funding table in section 4701, for Inertial confinement fusion ignition and high yield campaign is hereby reduced by $20,000,000.
