Derek Kilmer: “There are a lot of moms in this room who are concerned about the generational burden of climate change on the next…”

This retreat would provide a rare opportunity to engage with one another outside of the pressures of Washington, D.C.

My hope is, regardless of which party holds the gavels, that that Subcommittee continues, because the work of institutional improvement needs to continue.

These retreats will allow us to identify areas of mutual concern and agreement.

My gratitude to Chairwoman Bice and to you, Mr. Chairman, and to Ranking Member Morelle, is that you are loving critics of the institution, and that matters.
