The American people have spoken loud and clear. They don't want a government takeover of health care. The Democrats' latest plan is still a government takeover. Billions of dollars in new taxes on small businesses, over a trillion dollars in new spending, and it hurts our seniors and special-needs population by taxing hearing aids, pacemakers, wheelchairs. We've heard, ``If you like it, you can keep it.'' Not according to this President, who said recently, ``I think some of the provisions that got snuck in might have violated that pledge.'' We need to start over, and today I stand with Americans who want the freedom to choose their own health care.
