The Executive Order the President issued yesterday which instructs agencies to find ways to cut services and basic necessities for people who are poor or don't have jobs is exactly the wrong approach.

If they have a loving home and a loving family, they get educated. They get jobs. They are successful.

The passage of the Family First law gives us an awesome opportunity to bend this curve, and we can do that.

I am deeply troubled by the questions that remain with Section 232 exclusion process and the possibility of tariffs from Section 301 investigation.
