Mr. Speaker, I thank Mr. Wilson for his support and for being here tonight to help us highlight law enforcement Police Week and remember those who have died in the line of duty and those continuing to serve. Mr. Speaker, I would now like to introduce Mr. Gowdy from South Carolina, who also has a career in law enforcement and has continued that effort here to do the right thing and protect the American people here in Congress.
